WE-AR roots were planted in Bali

Bali’s holistic and cyclical traditions aligned with our founding yogic principles provided an environment for us to build ethical and sustainable business practices for production. Bali is also an island of entrepreneurs and creatives who favour working for themselves or in small family projects over corporate enterprise. We continue to support local communities to craft most of our clothing, following a decentralised process that encourages people to work in their villages instead of succumbing to urban migration, with the associated malaise of abandoned villages, values and traditions. The unique culture of the island is a thread that weaves through all of our collections and offerings.

WE-AR was built on a commonsense approach to living harmoniously and gracefully with ourselves and community, underpinned by the values of yoga.
